Favorite trackWoodburn (really all the tracks in the Northwest including Canada).

I became involved in racing an AA cars because I like the years and style.
I went to the Drag Races at Famoso and watched the AA car run and I
thought I could do that.  I liked the look of those cars, the motors weren’t
all that trick and I knew how to work on them or tune them myself.
So I decided to make a mold off the 1948 Austin my brother and I raced
when he was alive and built the car I have today.

My involvement in racing started in the 60’s.  I grow up on a ranch where
we raised Turkeys and I started driving before I could really reach the
Tractor controls.  I bought my first race car 1937 Willys from a man who
sold goat milk.  He used the car to carry his milk to the pick-up point.
I started drag racing in the 50’s and in 64 I ran with the Gassers.  I stopped
racing in 1969.  I started racing again in 1999.

My favorite race was in Mission Canada 2004, when we kicked a rod out
on the second qualifying pass and worked most of the night putting a
new motor in.  Came out the next day with the Best ET and MPH and
won the race.

Nothing is new for 2005.

My goal for 2005 is to help other car owners in our Association with some of their problems if I am asked.  Other than that I plan to try and win, win, win, win, win.
